Snow!

First we bundle up in a homemade sweater (thanks Jennifer!)
Then our snowsuit (thanks Nana!)
Finally we are outside!
Where we sadly discover that walking is hard.
But swings are awesome no matter the weather!

Cross Country Trip!

This trip was a little rough with 3 cats, 1 dog, a squirmy baby/toddler and mommy and daddy to boot. But we did okay. Here's our giant truck that I thought we would never fill but somehow actually was overfull.
Here's Benjamin looking snuggly and pretty happy with his bear.
Later, Benjamin was not amused by my sad attempt to cheer him up with a cupcake pan on the head.
And finally, this was Zoe's sad position for all three days of driving.

Happy Christmas!

Carol made stockings for the whole family while temporarily channeling the Christmas spirit of MArtha Stewart. Benjamin's has a train and a lizard--too cool! Benjamin found the tree very attractive. The evenings were filled with "Pretty...but don't touch it. No. Don't touch it. No, no, no!" Poor Benjamin--we never let him do anything!
On Christmas Eve, Benjamin decided there had been enough waiting around and took matters into his own hands by grabbing a good looking gift and prying the lid off...that move got us all rolling as Benjamin officially was awarded the prize for Baby with the Most Toys Ever! Fortunately, mommy was around to help open the mountain of gifts.
Later, he made time to play with a real kitty--L.S. was delighted to entertain.
And Nana Carol's lap was a good place to rest. For a minute.
Before heading back to some of his new toys--like a kitty who can't escape his love.
And blocks...so many blocks.
Benjamin also discovered a sure fire way to let us know he is sleepy. And it has the added benefit of making everyone go "aaaawwwww."

Grandpa Jim is always happy to oblige Benjamin's sleepiness by offering up a lap and his beard.

That was pretty much our wonderful Christmas. Hope yours was great too!
